All bedrooms offered at Woodend have ensuite facilities and have now been redesigned sympathetically with co-ordinated soft furnishings and floor coverings. Some rooms have views onto the pretty, landscaped gardens, which also boast a patio area and greenhouse.

There are a number of beautifully redecorated lounges which extend the comfortable, homely atmosphere and which residents are free to use to catch up, watch television or entertain guests.

Woodend is situated in a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Altrincham. The centre is designed to provide high quality nursing care for elderly residents. The activities co-ordinator provides a programme of stimulating and enjoyable activities covering everything from board games and knitting to exercise and painting. There are also trips arranged to local places of interest, for example the garden centre, theatre or perhaps the seaside.

Each home has an activities organiser to provide stimulating and interesting activities, taking account of residents' interests. There is always a varied menu of fresh, nutritious food, but special dietary or cultural needs will always be catered for.
