Arbrook House Nursing Home has been sympathetically redesigned to renew residents' bedrooms and all communal areas of the home with co-ordinated soft furnishings and floor coverings. Set in extensive landscaped and wooded grounds with a natural lake, Arbrook House is a peaceful haven for wildlife. Yet it is situated close to Esher town centre, and is conveniently placed for friends and relatives, just a few minutes by car from the A3 and M25. An attractive triple-aspect conservatory-style dining room gives views across the grounds.

All bedrooms offer en-suite facilities for privacy and convenience, and there are lifts to all floors. Daily activities are offered, and there is a separate activities room for residents to continue existing interests and take-up new ones.

Flat screen TVs have been added to all rooms, as well as a large screen in the lounge with a Nintendo Wii console, which provides many residents with hours of entertainment and exercise. New pictures adorn the walls of rooms and corridors to give an even homelier feel and the reception and lounge areas boast new furniture for the comfort of residents and their visitors.

Sherry parties, exercise and choir practice or a gentle stroll around the beautiful grounds are always popular, and there are trips to nearby attractions such as Wisley RHS gardens. Arbrook House also offers care to residents with Parkinson's Disease and those who have had strokes.

BUPA Care Homes

All our homes offer the quality of care you'd expect from BUPA. We employ dedicated, well trained staff, to provide 24-hour care in a professional and respectful way.

Above all, each resident is treated as an individual, and able to exercise choice in all aspects of their care. We encourage as full and active a lifestyle as possible, with rules and regulations kept to minimum, and visitors are welcome at any time.

Each resident has their own regularly updated care plan. Additional services such as speech therapy or physiotherapy can always be arranged, as can opticians and dentists appointments.

All rooms have television points and safety features such as smoke detectors and 24-hour nurse-call systems. Residents are welcome to bring personal belongings and small items of furniture, and pets are allowed in some homes.

Each home has an activities organiser to provide stimulating and interesting activities, taking account of residents' interests. There is always a varied menu of fresh, nutritious food, but special dietary or cultural needs will always be catered for.

Fees vary for each home, room and the level of care needed. Please contact the home manager directly to get an individualised quote.

Why not visit your local home and find out what sets BUPA care homes apart?
